The Chinese government did not skimp and spent about $40 billion to improve the railway infrastructure and increase the tonnage of goods transported along it.
At the end of 2014, a train from the Chinese city of Yiwu, located on the Pacific coast, solemnly set off, and 21 days later it finished in distant Madrid.
