When I was an applicant, I didn’t know where to enroll, so I applied to many universities. Since I am from Yakutia, it was not possible to come and submit documents in person, so I decided to submit by air (which is very inconvenient). Then it was time to choose. I arrived and decided to visit all the institutes to which I applied, and somewhere I was greeted well, but the atmosphere was not comfortable! Somewhere I was greeted with indifference! And only when I entered NSUEU, one might say, everyone smiled at me from the threshold...

Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management(NSUEM) was founded in 1967 as the Novosibirsk Institute of National Economy (NINH). Received university status in 2004.

NSUEU is included in the international educational space through cooperation agreements with more than 150 universities around the world. Currently, foreign students from 20 countries (China, Mongolia, CIS countries, as well as Europe and the Central African region) are studying at the university. NSUEU is the only university in Novosibirsk that has a full-fledged campus in the city center: five modern academic buildings, a student business incubator, a dormitory, a swimming pool, and a sports complex.

The student business incubator, which began its work in 2016, has become a regional platform for business communications and a center of attraction for entrepreneurial activity. There were not enough classrooms, classes were held in two shifts. The first enrollment at SINH was small, 126 people.

On May 27, 1931, 2 universities were created on the basis of SINH: the Siberian Planning Institute and Siberian Institute consumer cooperation of the Central Union of the USSR (one of the predecessors - the Siberian University of consumer cooperation).

In 1932, the first was renamed the Ural-Siberian Planning Institute, and the second the Ural-Siberian Trade and Commodity Research Institute. In August 1935, both universities merged into the Ural-Siberian Institute of National Economy, and Yuri Aleksandrovich Jordan was appointed as the first director.

The educational building was located at 46 and 48 Krasny Prospekt.

The institute organized 2 faculties: planning and trade and merchandising. Then the Faculty of Economic Accounting was opened.

In 1936-1937, most teachers and students were suspended from work and study by the OGPU authorities. University students were distributed between the Kuibyshev, Kharkov and Minsk Institutes of Economic Accounting, the Moscow and Leningrad Institutes of Soviet Trade.

In 1967, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Education Boris Elyutin, the Novosibirsk Institute of National Economy (NINKh) was created on the basis of the Novosibirsk branch. The new university was opened on August 1, 1968. The first rector of NINH was V.A. Pervushin.

Classes were held in kindergarten and in rented premises of city schools. The site for a large complex of the institute was allocated in 1968, at the same time the issue of building a dormitory was being decided. It was decided to build a standard school building (now building No. 1). During the construction, a lot of work was done by NINKh students. The building was ready in a year.

In 1974, Viktor Nikolaevich Shchukin was appointed rector. He organized a special faculty, which accepted working youth, soldiers returning from the army, to prepare for entering college. During the summer holidays, students went to work on the island of Sakhalin, Shikotan.

In 1983, Anatoly Danilovich Korobkin became rector. One of Anatoly Danilovich’s main achievements is the opening of a computer center. Thanks to his efforts, the computer center was organized in the shortest possible time and was one of the best among the city’s universities.

In 1986, the university was headed by Pyotr Vasilievich Shemetov. He focused his efforts on developing a system of pre-university training and creating a multi-level education system. Under Pyotr Vasilyevich, graduate school and an editorial and publishing center were organized.

An important place was occupied by the faculty of pre-university education, which was then transformed into the first Economic Lyceum beyond the Urals.

In 1991, a council for the defense of candidate dissertations was opened. In 1992, the university became one of the experimental ones for the preparation of two-level education: bachelor's and master's degrees.

In 1998, the post of rector was taken by Yuri Vasilyevich Gusev, who continued the traditions laid down by his predecessors. The material base of the university was developing. During this period, a radical reconstruction of the library was carried out.

In January 2001, the first issue of the newspaper “Our Academy” was published.

More than 12 thousand students study at NSUEU, the number of teaching staff is more than 320 people, among them 35 doctors of science and 175 candidates of science.

The concept of lifelong education is being implemented at NSUEU. Secondary vocational education is represented by the Faculty of Basic Training, where training is conducted in 9 specialties. The system of higher professional education includes the training of bachelors, specialists, masters and graduate students. At the university, education is conducted in five faculties: the Faculty of Public Sector, the Faculty of Corporate Economics and Entrepreneurship, the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Basic Training. The structure of the university includes 27 departments. Postgraduate education is conducted within the framework of doctoral studies. There are dissertation councils in the following branches of science: “Finance, money circulation and credit, Accounting, statistics”, “Economics and management in national economy(economics, organization and management of enterprises, industries, complexes in industry; service sector).”

Another stage of the multi-level system built at NSUEM is additional education provided at retraining and advanced training courses, as well as in educational centers and schools.

The university is actively introducing modern educational technologies: business games, master classes, project methods, online learning. As a result of practice-oriented training, almost 90% of NSUEM graduates are employed immediately after graduation. The university is a regional center for postgraduate education: it trains top managers in international MBA programs and others.

The infrastructure of NSUEU includes 5 academic buildings, a modern swimming pool “Aquarius”, and a dormitory. The total area of NSUEU buildings and structures is about 50 thousand m². The university supports various forms of extracurricular activities for students. There is a student club, dance, theater and vocal studios, a KVN team, a chess club, etc.

NSUEM in the regions

Abakan

The representative office of NSUEM in Abakan was created in 1999. In 2013, the contingent of this representative office was 837 people, in 2014 – 627 people. Director of the representative office is Tatyana Vladimirovna Zeibert.

Belokurikha

The representative office in the city of Belokurikha was established in 1998. During the period 2012-2014, more than 150 people entered NSUEM through this representative office. This representative office has its own building with a large classroom fund and library. Director of the representative office is Natalya Ivanovna Nazarenko.

Gorno-Altaisk

A representative office in the city of Gorno-Altaisk was opened in 1999. Director of the representative office is Alla Pavlovna Naumova.

Iskitim

A representative office in the city of Iskitim was opened in 1999. Over the past three years, about 100 people have entered NSUEU through this representative office. Director of the representative office is Tatyana Ivanovna Nikulina.

Prokopyevsk

A representative office in the city of Prokopyevsk was established in 1998. Over the past three years, more than 80 people have entered NSUEU through this representative office. Director of the representative office is Balakina Marina Georgievna.

Strezhevoy

A representative office in the city of Strezhevoy was opened in 1999. For applicants to Strezhevoy, which is a center of oil and gas production, the economic areas of NSUEM are of particular relevance. Over the past three years, more than 60 people have entered the university through this representative office.

Yurga

The representative office was opened in 1999. The first intake consisted of 51 people. In 2000, the representative office moved to the building of the Yurga Industrial and Economic College. The representative office is actively involved in the public life of the city and is a regular participant in fairs educational places in the cities of Bolotnoye, Taiga, Yurga (Kemerovo region). Faculty of Corporate Economics and Entrepreneurship

The Faculty of Corporate Economics and Entrepreneurship appeared as a result of the restructuring of faculties and departments of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The faculty is headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor Sergei Anatolyevich Filatov.

The process of restructuring the university should be perceived not as someone’s whim, but as an urgent need to adequately respond to modern challenges. Our faculty has already outlined procedures related to public discussion of existing educational programs. Our task is to develop completely new programs that would initially take into account the opinions of employers regarding the competencies that our graduates should have. That is, now we have a unique opportunity to create programs that would truly meet the interests of both the university and the end consumers of our educational product - employers. Already this year, if everything works out, we plan to introduce new profiles in the field of bachelor’s training “Economics”: “Corporate (financial) analysis”, “Corporate planning and budgeting”, “Corporate tax consulting” and possibly others related to financial sphere.

The immediate plans for the formation of a new faculty include solving personnel problems, taking into account the possibility of attracting employees of various companies in the city as teachers. In general, the specificity of our faculty is a clearly expressed practice orientation. I would even say that this is our main unifying principle. We have always used the potential of teachers with business experience. But if earlier this could be considered as a kind of wish, now practice-oriented has become the most important aspect competitiveness of the university. And even the federal state educational standards stipulate the need to involve practicing teachers in the implementation of educational programs. Now new opportunities are emerging to solve this problem. For example, the creation of basic departments. We already have a department from VTB24 Bank, but we are planning to form other basic departments. Our task is to organize the work of these departments in such a way that they fit organically into the educational process and effectively perform their functions.

The second task when forming a new faculty is to more specifically determine the lists of disciplines assigned to a particular department, and thereby finally formulate the educational program.

Faculty of Public Sector

The Faculty of Public Sector appeared as a result of the restructuring of faculties and departments of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The faculty is headed by Ph.D. legal Sciences, Associate Professor Andrey Alekseevich Makartsev.

Restructuring is a necessary stage designed to lay the foundation for the further development of NSUEM. Restructuring presupposes evolutionary development, the basis of which should be the best that we already have.

It seems to me an exaggeration to talk about the formation of a new faculty - to one degree or another, its basis already exists. It is the departments and their employees, on whom the effective functioning of any educational institution. Now we are faced with the task of more clearly defining the areas of activity of the teaching staff, ensuring the continuity of the new and previous faculties. Also, in my opinion, it is necessary to ensure the interaction of new faculties with each other in the creation of laboratories and centers in which specialists from various fields of knowledge will work, which will allow for a comprehensive analysis of the problems stated by potential customers.

The unification within one faculty of various spheres of government activity makes it possible to implement interdisciplinary research, master's and postgraduate programs, which, as an educational product, should be in demand on the market.

In general, any faculty has two main areas of activity. The first is science, which must be directly related to practice. Scientific research should, no matter how loud it may sound, serve the people, the city, and the state. It is practice that poses questions that are resolved in scientific works.

I would also like to point out the importance research work students. The faculty should have scientific circles, within which the work of our teachers will be considered, among other things, so that the students can discuss emerging issues directly with the authors. This will increase the authority of scientific activity and replace the “teacher-student” relationship model with a more effective “those who want to learn - teacher” model. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but science in a modern university plays a threefold role. It is both a means of self-realization, an area of communication with students, and a way to earn money.

The second area of work of the dean’s office is the organization of educational activities, which should not be limited only to lectures and seminars. Knowledge must be linked to practice. In this regard, we consider the immediate goal of the faculty to be the development of those profiles that already exist, their adaptation to the requirements of employers. It is also necessary to open new profiles aimed at training specialists for whom there is a need in the market.

Faculty of Information Technology

The Faculty of Information Technology is a structural subdivision of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The Faculty of Information Technology is headed by Ph.D. physics and mathematics Sciences, Associate Professor Vitaly Gennadievich Kazakov.

I view the restructuring of narkhoz as a way to achieve goals. For my part, I tried to get involved in the work of transforming and updating the faculty as soon as possible. I certainly have an idea of what changes would be useful. However, plans for the development of the faculty must be a collective product, in the development of which the dean’s office, teachers, and students participate. At the same time, plans must comply with the overall development strategy of the university. When such documents are developed, accepted by the team and agreed upon with management, I will be ready to talk about the nature of the changes in detail.

At the same time, I promise that there will be enough new things in the work of the faculty. Today I will note only one small feature: I want the life of our faculty to add more romance to a medieval university, where all the professors and all the students form one big community.

Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law is a structural division of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The Faculty of Law is headed by Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Aleksandrovich Savchenko.

The Faculty of Law is a relatively new division of NSUEU. It was created in 2014 as part of the restructuring of our university that began then. The results of the work over the past period, as it seems to me, confirmed the correctness of the management decision made then by the rector and supported by the Academic Council of NSUEM. First-year enrollment rates have increased significantly, and the teaching staff has strengthened. I would like to hope that student life has become more eventful and interesting.

Of course, we are committed to continuing the transformation. The creation of a number of new departments of our faculty will make it possible to make the training of bachelors in the field of “Jurisprudence” more substantive and focused, and to better prepare our graduates for the requirements and challenges modern market labor. We will clarify our educational plans taking into account the achievements of modern legal science and the needs of practice. More attention will be paid to students mastering the competencies necessary to work in the public and business sectors of the economy, to perform the functions of corporate lawyers. We would like wider interaction between our departments and departments of economics, information technology and humanities. Starting from the new academic year, students will be trained in new legal specialties - “Legal Support of National Security” and “Law Enforcement”, and training in the specialty “Economic Security” will reach a new level. We are ready to begin implementing a legal master’s program and are considering the possibility of organizing secondary specialized education programs in legal fields.

Faculty of Basic Training

The Faculty of Basic Training appeared as a result of the restructuring of faculties and departments of the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The Faculty of Basic Training is headed by Elena Vladislavovna Neverova.

All applicants who become students after the admissions campaign will be enrolled in the Faculty of Basic Training within the framework of the areas and specialties chosen at the time of application. During two years of study at the faculty, from our point of view, they should receive a foundation that will provide opportunities for the correct and informed choice of a profile. Our goal is for children to be able to easily develop professional knowledge on this foundation. Like other university structures, we work to ensure that our graduates are 100% in demand in the labor market.

Students of different levels of training will study at the faculty. Of course, we understand that another concern is to “erase” the boundary between VET students and bachelors. To create the most comfortable microclimate in the student body, all six departments of our faculty and the center of secondary vocational education will hold an adaptive event for first-year students at the end of August to show all the buildings, talk about the traditions and history of the university, and introduce them to the teachers. I would like students to come to a familiar atmosphere and people whose faces they have already seen on September 1st.

One of our main goals is to make sure that students of the faculty go to classes with pleasure, so that they are interested in their studies. It is no secret that some students miss classes, and this fact outrages teachers. But I always tell my colleagues: if a person was going to class and suddenly stopped, pay attention to the student. Perhaps he is uncomfortable, or he did not understand something, or he is simply not interested in being with you. When a teacher is passionate about his work and gives 100% during the lesson, trying to interest the student, I assure you that mutual understanding between the student and the teacher will be achieved.

The organizational structure of the administrative block of the faculty is formed on the principles of efficiency and modernity. It is expected that about 3,000 students will come to study at the Faculty of Basic Training (taking into account the current first year and part-time students). And we will structure our work so that our students say: “It’s interesting to study here!” I even want them to feel a little sorry for switching to specialized faculties in their third year. We will strive to ensure that studying at our faculty becomes the most vivid memory of their entire student life for the students.

Educational process

Classes at NSUEU start at 8.00 and end at 20.00. Each group's schedule includes no more than 4 pairs per day. Students attend lectures and seminars. They take place in classrooms, computer classes and specially equipped laboratories.

Extracurricular trajectories

Education at a university is not only the acquisition of knowledge, but also the first step in a career. Therefore, extracurricular trajectories have been invented at NSUEU. Each of them is a large “supermarket” in which the student will be offered courses, lectures, conferences and competitions, meetings with interesting people, participation in entrepreneurial and public projects and much more. The goal of the trajectory is to gain skills in one of the industries.

NSUEU has approved 7 extracurricular development trajectories:

Leadership and Initiatives
International connections
Analytics, science and innovation
Culture and creativity
Healthy lifestyle and safety
Entrepreneurship
Business and government

Each student can choose any of these trajectories, within which he will be asked to develop his own activity using the resources of the university. Each trajectory is a short document of three sections - a description of the life strategy and the target group to which it is aimed, a list of quantitative and quality characteristics that a student must achieve at each stage and the actual proposed list of projects and activities, broken down by year.

Currently, NSUEU pays great attention to research activities of both faculty and students. Its information support is becoming one of the priority areas of the library’s work. As part of its solution, an annual bibliographic index “Works of NSUEM teachers” is published, an electronic bio-bibliographic collection “Works of NSUEU scientists” is created, and a section “To help scientific work” is maintained on the library website.

In September 2015, the NSUEU library was awarded scientific status.

Scientific journal "Bulletin of NSUEU"

The magazine has been published since 2008. In 2011 included in. The NSUEM Bulletin is published 4 times a year.

The journal is interdisciplinary in nature and covers current problems of Russian national security, the results of theoretical and practical research in the field of finance, management, audit, accounting and statistics. The magazine also presents publications by leading scientists in the field of information technology, sociology, philosophy and jurisprudence.

Scientific journal "Ideas and Ideals"

The journal “Ideas and Ideals” has been published since 2009 and is included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission. Published once a quarter (in two volumes).

The journal presents research in the following scientific specialties: philosophy, economics, sociology, cultural studies, art history. The magazine strives to become a forum for expert discussion of significant scientific, cultural and social issues.

Humanitarian almanac "Chelovek.RU"

The humanitarian almanac “Chelovek.RU” has been published since 2005 once a year. Included in the RSCI database.

The Almanac is a scientific journal publishing the results modern research in the field of philosophy, psychology and human pedagogy, anthropology of education, traditional and modern anthropological practices.

Editor-in-Chief – Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Laboratory of Strategic and Foresight Research and Development of NSUEU (Novosibirsk) Sergey Alevtinovich Smirnov.

Newspaper "Our Academy"

The first periodical publication in NSUEM appeared in January 2001. This newspaper was called “Academy”; before it, only special issues were published for university anniversaries. The Academy was published once every two weeks with a circulation of 999 copies and published information about the main events of the university.

Almost a year after its founding, a certificate of state registration of the media was received - and since December 2001, the newspaper began to be published on 8 pages under the name “Our Academy”, which has survived to this day. The newspaper was published weekly, it published information about the main events that took place at the university during the week, as well as interviews with teachers and students.

In September 2015, the format of the newspaper changed. Its frequency was reduced to once every 2 weeks, and its volume doubled. Now, on 16 pages of Our Academy, readers can expect discussion materials about various aspects of the life of the university, the strategy of its development and the life of individual departments, conversations with graduates, students and teachers, materials about scientific research at NSUEU. The “Reprint” section, in which archival materials from “Our Academy” are published, is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the newspaper.

Currently, the newspaper's circulation is 500 copies; they are distributed at information desks in the buildings of NSUEU. The newspaper is published electronically on the university website.

Admission to the 1st year of bachelor's and specialist's programs was carried out based on the results of the Unified State Examination (USE).

Every year, NSUEU holds Olympiads for schoolchildren in various subjects, the purpose of which is to identify and develop students’ creative abilities and interest in research activities, disseminate and popularize scientific knowledge, and attract talented youth to study at Russian universities.

The establishment is strange. I graduated from college and am now studying at Narkhoz. I can say one thing about the teachers: if it weren’t for a number of them in college, I would have quit long ago. Many thanks to V.N. Topchilova, she explained everything very competently when there was a difficulty and I was thinking about expelling.

Many thanks to T.V. Ladchenko, a strong mathematician, strict and disciplined person. It’s difficult and requires a lot of studying, but it fills in the gaps that were left out of school. She won't have freebies either! At all!

Many thanks to G.I. Shainurova, a very sincere woman. English will take you from zero to decent conversational English with a dictionary.

It is very interesting to learn from an elderly woman who taught Ecology in the 2nd year. Unfortunately I forgot her last name, she is a doctor. She gave me a lot of interesting things. Folvert is a different story.

About the bad - economics, pricing, modules, they were taught by people from the national economy, I won’t write names, everyone already knows. I won’t describe it, the rating is a freebie. The modules were generally fun, I came for a class - the teacher was busy - they let me go, or a laboratory assistant came from the department and gave me the task to rewrite the text - and they let me go. Freebie!

This is no longer the case in the narcosis tower; no one here cares about you, how abandoned you turn out to be.

The brightest memories are associated with the business college from this institution.

And further. Based on the reviews, you can immediately see who demands and forces you to study, and who ### is already clear. I’m ready to give the college all 5 points, but it no longer exists. Narxosis itself deserves one. Because it's a terrible place. Now it’s disgusting to walk along the 2nd building, it’s dirty. Very dirty. There was no such dirt when there was college! Dirty in the classrooms and dirty in the hallway. A very expensive diner.
