High-quality boards are made from a mixture in which the content of wood components is not lower than 60-80 percent.

It is more profitable to manufacture decking boards from Russian raw materials. In this case, the following proportion of ingredients is observed:

  • wood powder– within 50-70 percent (as a rule, the powder is made from coniferous wood);
  • polymer - 30-50 percent (these are thermoplastic polymers, among which HDPE is most often used - low-density polyethylene, less often polypropylene and PVC);
  • various additives to improve performance characteristics (modifiers account for 5% of the total volume).

Important! WPC products accurately imitate the surface of natural wood. They have a more reasonable cost compared to solid wood flooring, and their technical and operational characteristics are much higher.
