Projects of small and small houses: choosing the best option. Miniature House Design

Who wouldn’t want to have a small country house where they can come in the summer and have a great time away from the bustle of the city. However, the question arises - what should be the layout of this building in order to meet the expectations and not go beyond the allotted budget. In addition, it is necessary to calculate how much building materials will be required for this and how much construction will cost. If it is impossible to deal with the last two points without the help of professionals, then it is not at all necessary to pay extra to the architect for drawing up the project - you can use a ready-made drawing or draw it up yourself.

The ideal option for a cozy dacha would be a house with an attic - in fact, it turns out to be small two floors suitable for living (you must agree, such a structure is more rational than cottage– allows you to create a larger area at lower costs). Perfect for a young family, for whose holiday a small building will be quite enough. Such a house is also very good for retired summer residents.

Now let's look in more detail at the layout of each floor separately.

First floor of the house

General view of the first floor - area 35.8 square meters

Ground floor area: 35.8 sq m, size: 7.32 m x 4.88 m, ceiling height (to the roof) 5.64 m

The ground floor plan includes 3 small rooms: living room, bathroom and kitchen

Let's consider the option of a cozy building or an economy class dacha project, which provides the following parameters - total area of the first floor: 35.8 sq m, size: 7.32 m x 4.88 m, ceiling height (to the roof) is slightly less than 5.7 m. Most good layout V in this case will be the following:

1. Shared living room

Area: 20.33 sq m, size: 4.57 m x 4.45 m

Living room - naturally, this will be the most important room where the whole family will gather for tea. To achieve maximum comfort, it will be necessary to allocate a room for this

2. Bathroom

Area: 4.8 sq m, size: 2.31 m x 2.08 m

Bathroom - even if it’s a summer house, it’s better to do it in the house. It will be enough to take

3. Kitchen

Area: 5.92 sq m, size: 2.13 m x 2.78 m

Considering that the dacha is not private city apartment, where people spend most of their free time in the kitchen, this room can be equipped with the necessary minimum - a stove for cooking, a kitchen table and a refrigerator. A room with an area of 5.92 square meters and dimensions of 2.13 m x 2.78 m will be sufficient for this. Ideal layout modern country house options!

The second floor is an unusual attic of the house

On the second floor there is an economy version of the attic bedroom

Attic bedroom area square meters

4. Attic bedroom

Area: 6.96 sq m, size: 2.54 m x 2.74 m

Based on the proposed design of a small house, only one room will be located on the second floor, serving as a bedroom. For this room it will be enough to allocate 6.96 square meters of area, measuring 2.54 m x 2.74 m

The veranda is a changeable part of the country house

A place is allocated for a veranda - this can also be open area for barbecue

Area: 9 sq m, size: 3 m x 3 m

What to do with free space? Based on the proposed option, 9 sq. m remains unoccupied (pay attention to the photo). The most reasonable solution would be to arrange a veranda (summer kitchen) there and enjoy the sunrise while admiring the splendor of nature!

Overall plan

For 50 sq. meters you can not only live comfortably, but fully enjoy life and the world around you. At least that's what you want to do in the cottage built by Gert Wingart.

Huge windows, “letting” the surrounding landscape into the interior, finely detailed and cozy interiors against the backdrop of Scandinavian-style restrained architecture - all this fills the cottage with amazing warmth and some special poetry characteristic of Japanese tea houses, which inspired the architect when working on the project of this small house.

This charming little cottage, designed by architect Gert Wingard and called the Mill House, is part of a large country complex converted from an ancient 19th-century farmhouse. And although this cottage is just a holiday home (it must be said that it is dearly loved by family members and their guests), it could well be a completely independent building, gracefully fitting into some idyllic Swedish landscape. After all, here there are 50 sq. meters, everything you need for life and happiness surprisingly fit: a large living room with a fireplace, a wonderful kitchen, a bright mezzanine with a bedroom and, of course, the main component of the house project - a spacious sauna with a stunning stone plunge pool.

The natural surroundings of the Mill House are filled with special poetry, without which it would have lost the lion's share of its charm.

The effect is enhanced by carefully crafted landscape design: In addition to the natural stream, there is a shallow cobblestone pond in front of the cottage, with several large boulders reminiscent of Japanese gardens.

The entire internal volume of the house is divided into three parts: one half of the lower floor is occupied by a kitchen with a living room, the other by a sauna and a bathroom, and on the second level there is a bedroom.

The peculiarity of the house is the huge glass area, two out of four external walls completely converted into large sliding window-doors. This meets the main purpose of the house - to serve as a place of relaxation among nature; it practically merges with it.

Despite its modest size and apparent simplicity of form, the Mill House is a real tiny architectural masterpiece, created by one of Sweden's leading architects. It's rare to see projects small houses, so fully consistent with the ideal comfortable rest. Look how cleverly the second floor is designed - it hangs over the first floor with a mezzanine, but at the same time is not completely “cut off” from it. And even though the area of the house does not allow for a full-fledged double-height space, this small opening between the floors allows the cottage to look much more spacious, and the ground floor does not look too low.

On the second floor there is a small bedroom. All the furniture in the house is built-in and made of the same material as the house itself - oak.

The large glazed gable of the Mill House floods the bedroom interior with natural light.

All home decoration and built-in furniture are made from natural materials, the highest quality - oak and gray sandstone. The finish is very different high quality- the whole house is like an elegant box, each detail of which fits perfectly to the other.

Half of the first floor is occupied by a spacious kitchen built into oak structures and a living room with a unique glass fireplace. Located opposite the glass wall, it does not obscure the natural surroundings and is absolutely functional.

So, upon entering the house, the resident finds himself in a hallway, the area of which is 7.0 square meters. m. It is worth remembering to save space, as this is especially important in the kitchen. Nothing should hinder movement or interfere with the owner.

However, in pursuit of convenience, one should not forget about the beauty and design of this room. It is this factor that has a great influence on cooking. Everyone will agree that cooking in a beautifully furnished kitchen is much more pleasant than in a gray and monotonous room. This layout includes the installation of a U-shaped kitchen. This headset is very convenient because it clearly defines the boundaries of food preparation, beyond which it is best not to go.
